The legendry Plaza hotel at New York is going to be converted into hotels and stores

The legendry Plaza hotel since last 98 years was once the meeting place for rich and famous, kings and queens, presidents and stars will be closed by April 30 and would be converted to smaller hotels and stores.

The present hotel was one of the best in New York City Hotels and in its place there will be 150 room in place of 850, 200 condominiums and a large retail store. The hotel was brought by Elad at $675 million.

The mention of Plaza in Kay Thompson's classic picture book grabbed a firm spot in the imagination of children everywhere. The plaza was considered as city landmark in 1969. The major drawback was thet its exterior never received landmark status, which allowed for its renovation freely. The Plaza hotel being so old, still is considered in the best of New York City Hotels and Naftali want to make it the best in real sense.
